While the original Mean Girls came out in 2004 and was written by Tina Fey (therefore being hilarious), this new movie has no actual affiliation with Tina Fey whatsoever and will be released straight-to-dvd. Yet, somehow methinks it will still be popular because who doesn't love seeing young girls be mean to each other? Check out the trailer below.
The film stars Meaghan Martin, Jennifer Stone, Nicole Anderson and Maiara Walsh.
Wizards of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone and JONAS L.A.'s Nicole Anderson are joining Meaghan Martin and Maiara Walsh in Mean Girls 2. Nicole will be playing Hope, a member of The Plastics -- she described the part as the new Gretchen Weiners from Mean Girls (played by Lacey Chabert). No word on who Jennifer will be playing yet.
Nicole Anderson currently stars as Macy Misa on the Disney Channel's JONAS. She will be a guest on Zach Sang and the Studen Body on Zang Radio on Tonight @7pm. Since 2008 Nicole's character has been an obsessed fan of the fake-but-kinda-real JONAS band on the show, which stars brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick.
Her first TV appearance was on Full House at the age of two, and she has been featured in print ads and television commercials since age 13.
Nicole has also had roles on the TV shows iCarly, Hannah Montana and Zoey 101. She will star in the upcoming film Accused at 17.
