Delicate Steve starts us off--

Followed by Keep Away--

And finally, Yeasayer brings us home--

In case you missed it, here is Yeasayer LIVE. More videos to come. Stay tuned.

The Beach at Governors Island has linked up with the New York Water Taxi. You'll go from Manhattan to the other Island in just around 4 minutes.
All ferries will leave from the Battery Maritime Building. The first ferry will be when the doors are listed as open, but check back on the show's webpage to verify the info.
Here are the closest subway stations to the Battery Maritime Building are: 1 at South Ferry, W at South Ferry, and 5 at Bowling Green. Just a short walk from the Wall Street Area.
And here, via Brooklyn Vegan, just a little present for this weekend:

Brooklyn natives, Yeasayer, are ready to start off Converse's Gone to Governors Music Series this Saturday. Also performing along with Yeasayer are Delicate Steve and Keepaway.
The doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 8 pm. The beach on Governors Island opens at 10 am, so come out early to enjoy the day.

Yeasayer is currently on tour and from what I've heard and read they have one of the best live shows around. They recently performed at Granada down in Dallas and the guys over at DBF-Music have a good review and pictures from their "sweaty" show.
Here's what Yeasayer look and sound like if you were to see them on late-night TV.
Just imagine being there for the real thing live.
