It's probably not the first time and probably won't be last time, but the Jersey Shore has snubbed a Disney Channel star.

Singer/actor Selena Gomez invited Snookie and others from "Jersey Shore" to attend a recent concert in NYC.  But Gomez's invite was turned down because the cast members of MTV's 'reality' show are apparently "booked until May."

The Snookie Snubbing then brought some attention to which stars make more money.  When told that "Jersey Shore" cast members will make as much as ten grand an episode for the upcoming season, Selena was non-plussed.  "Why would I be competitive? We're both living dreams that we get to do. I mean, I get to wake up and make kids laugh every day."

Selena will make more than $11,000/episode for the next season of her show "Wizards of Waverly Place."  Not to mention she has a budding music career.  I can understand how she wouldn't be bothered by the invite turn-down, considering her popularity will almost definately outlast any Jersey Shore schlub.
