Usher is poised for a comeback and it will come in the form of a new album. Raymond vs. Raymond will be dropping March 30, and no one is more excitied about it than Usher.
After having a family, which eventually ended his marriage and replacing his management, Usher is ready to get back his 'swagger'. "A lot of things have happened in the last few years that could have broke me, but I'm still standing." The new album will, of course, be featuring tremendous artists, like Nicki Minaj and will.i.am. So prepare for some hot R&B from Usher.

It's been awhile since we heard from Grammy-award winning D'Angelo, but picking up undercover policewomen posing as prostitutes is a poor way to get back in the spotlight. I know it's sad, it's also a little bit funny. He allegedly offered up $40 for a little 'brown suger', then the arresting officer found a $12,000 stash in the back of his Range Rover... I have two questions. Why the need to buy oral sex when you're a major sex symbol (Recall of "How Does It Feel" video)? And why so cheap? Clearly, there was pocket change lying around. Those are the breaks, I guess.

When a song starts with the phrase "This right here's a panty dropper", followed with "This right here's a baby maker", I'm in. Pour the champagne and let's groove, I always say. "Neighbors Know My Name" from Trey Songz draws similarities to R. Kelly jams, Jodeci hits, and (my personal favorite) H-Town's "Knockin' Da Boots". The video follows suit with random body part montages, sexy embraces in silhouette, all filtered through a red glow. The problem with all these things is that they remind me of 1993! This is my biggest beef with R&B. This song and video really bring nothing new to the table. But it's hot. The new album is Ready. I'm done.

Being a blogger, I guess I'm one of the people that has Ciara so pissed off. But from what's I've learned from her newly-leaked single, "I'm Up in the Bank", she has a lot of money so it doesn't matter what we say. If that sounds a bit trite you should hear the song.
An entire song about how much more money she has than me isn't the message I'm trying to get from my tunes, if you know what I'm saying. The one piece of the track that I enjoyed was the spanish guitar riff, but I'm a guitar guy. It's too bad she feels the need to speak, because I think I could get into the musicality of the song.
Hey Ciara, if the blogs are getting you so angry; don't read them. Clearly you're not a man, so don't let the rumors get to you. Go spend some more money on better songs or something, and ignore them. Look for the new album this summer.
