The performance is fairly similar to the studio cut yet feels truncated. But the song has to fit the time restraints of late night TV so it's to be expected.
It's interesting to see Danger Mouse on the drum kit, but the beat isn't demanding so I shouldn't be too surprised. I wonder if he's on the sticks for the entire album. . .

If after watching the video for Yeasayer's "O.N.E." you don't know the state of alternative music, check your pulse. The 80s retro sound is large and in charge. In the clip, the hairstyles are asymmetrical, the instruments are abstract and the clothes would best fit in at neon disco bowling night.
"O.N.E." has all the makings of a radio, dance and club hit, even though the Brooklyn-based group may not be expecting that kind of exposure. At any rate, XXXchange is already putting the finishing touches on a remix that will appear on a "12 single for an April 17 "Record Store Day" release.

Here's the latest clip from British indie-rock veteran and former Smiths frontman Morrissey for "Ganglord."
The song is from a collection of b-sides, although I'm not sure what that collection is called. It's a pretty recent release at any rate.
The song is also very solid so check it out!!!
This is the video for "Little Secrets" by Passion Pit from their debut album Manners. And here are five reasons why you should dig this band (in descending order, of course):
5. They are a perfect blend of electronic and rock. (Like Owl City but heavier)
4. The band started as a bunch of songs written by the lead singers', Michael Angelakos, girlfriend in his dorm room.
3. They got love for the kids. Example can be heard in the song above.
2. Production Value- All the songs sound fantastic.
1. The Name- It comes from a slang term in the Hollywood industry for a drive-in theatre, but it works on many levels, I think.
I like to see things like this. A lot bands who are at the level of Vampire Weekend wouldn't think about doing a house party. Maybe it was the fact that they were in Barcelona and the Spanish wine got the better of them. This is what music is about. It's supposed to be fun, and that's what everyone in attendance here is having.
The Constant is a powerpop group from NYC, lead by Steven Baggs, who's a voice right out of the late 90's with his pain vocals and rocking tight sound.
