ShoreFlicks1

It's been about a full week since Goom launched My Goom, and a week and ten minutes since ShoreFlicks1 was born.  Happy birthday to both of us!  For the most part the flow of music has been good, and I've been surprised at how good some of the segues have been.  There are still plenty of bugs to be worked out, and I'm anxious for the ability to further customize the station.  Overall, though, it's been a fun experience creating our own radio station to serve as an extension of Shore Flicks. 

I expect that next summer ShoreFlicks1 will be playing before all of our outdoor movie events where we can get WiFi.  I think ShoreFlicks2, 3, and 4 are inevitable, too, as we will be able to tailor a  station for each particular event.

Hey there!  Thanks for tuning in to our very own little online radio station, ShoreFlicks1, here at Goom.

Movies (and life) would not be the same without music, and we take that to heart here at Shore Flicks.  At all of our outdoor movie events we love cranking some of our favorite songs as we wait for darkness to fall and the movie to begin. 

We hope to have other stations up in the future, but for now we bring you ShoreFlicks1, a mix of classic Alternative and some like-minded current songs.  Be sure to check out Shore Flicks elsewhere on the internetz:
