“(I was) arguing the difference between rock vs. pop, and that it’s a very pop-oriented world at the moment, and that there is no rock. And people that dress (like rock stars) and have guitars in their music — that’s the closest thing audiences have to rock right now, and we’re looking to bring back a real rock band. I wasn’t insulting Rihanna. Rihanna’s great.”
