Sometimes, I worry about the future of music. R&B is still stuck doing 'panty droppers'. Hip-hop has sampled James Brown so much they've moved to musicals for inspiration. And remember when Britney sung about normal relationships? Now, it's all about banging...inappropriate banging.

I'm not saying Aloe Blacc is the savior of new music, but he gets it. and I like that. He sees what's out there and strives for something different. This clip makes me hopeful for the future.
