Gainesville Rock City

Blender magazine named Gainesville, Florida the top city in the world to start a band in 2008. The city has had many a band a succesful band in the past. That include Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Less Than Jake, and Against Me! just to name a few. Stephen Stills and two members of the Eagles have some roots in Gainesville as well. It also has a thriving local music scene. Right now unfortunately Goom's library is not quite diverse enough to make an only Gainesville musicians station, but I recently added some more Less Than Jake, Against Me, and Hot Water Music to the system so that should be showing up soon.
