We're nearing the end of the first week of Punk Chunk, every weekday at Noon Eastern. It's a 4 or 5 song set of some classic punk or something from the first wave which had an influence on the new music we love today.
So, when I saw this article in Rolling Stone, I thought I'd pass it along. CBGB's has long been the venue associated with punk. But right along side is another historic New York venue... Max's Kansas City. Max's closed in the early 80's but this year marks what would have been it's 45th anniversary and to commemorate the event, the Max's Kansas City Company is releasing a book and some unearthed video footage of The Ramones, Suicide and others. You can check out the footage here.
