I love the deluge of Lil Wayne content that has emerged just before his jail sentencing.
He's been releasing singles and videos and even started up a Twitter account (which has been quiet ever since he was thrown in the big house).
Here's a clip for Young Money's "Roger That," featuring Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Weezy F. Baby himself. The video is an homage to the film noir graphic novel adaptation of Sin City. Some of the shots are even exact replicas from shots in the movie.
Not very timely but still a Pretty good video for a pretty good song.

Actor Nicoye Banks from the upcoming film Green Zone will be on on the Miss Stacy Show this Friday from 7-9 PM.
Banks hails from New Orleans and has been acting for most of his life. He has a background in theater and has appeared in television and film. Nicoye's credits include "Death of a Salesman," "Law & Order" and the recently released Brooklyn's Finest.
So don't miss Nicoye Banks on Miss Stacy's show this Friday at 7 PM, and definately check out Nicoye in his latest films, Brooklyn's Finest and Green Zone.

Here's the video for Lil Wayne's "Drop the World," featuring Eminem from Rebirth. The song is arguably the only worthwhile cut from the rap/rock hybrid album. I guess only time will tell if the combination of Lil Wayne's grating singing and aggressive guitarwork will have any legs.
The video is dark (both figuratively and literally, jack up the brightness on your monitor) and features unruly mobs ransacking storefronts and causing all-around chaos on the streets. It's the perfect setting for an angry Eminem rap, as he performs in a sort of crater in the middle of a city. I guess his rapping is so powerful it causes mass destruction. All around a good clip.
I heard this song by Yo Gotti over the weekend and I really like. I can't put my finger why, though? What I do know is that anyone who listens to this song needs a good pair of subs, because the bass is heavy, in a very good way. Even if you're not a fan of hip-hop this is the type of song you play for friends to show off the new sound system.
Over the weekend, Yo Gotti and crew caused a riot to break out at the Velvet Rope in Baltimore. In my opinion, I think this club should possibly break ties with the upcoming rapper being that this is the third incident in the last several weeks. Or maybe everyone could just CALM DOWN!
This is the video for "Women Lie, Men Lie" featuring Lil' Wayne. The album is Live From the Kitchen.
The Constant is a powerpop group from NYC, lead by Steven Baggs, who's a voice right out of the late 90's with his pain vocals and rocking tight sound.
