Metalcore act the Word Alive have announced that bassist and founding member Nick Urlacher is leaving the Pheonix, AZ based band on amicable terms, according to Noisecreep.com. "I've decided to leave the Word Alive my friends," Urlacher said in a joint statement from him and the band. "This decision doesn't come easy, by any means of the word. The other five members have been my road family and home family for what feels like an eternity." The band saw their friend off, saying, "sometimes people have to choose the path that is right for them." The remaining members of the Word Alive have assured fans that no shows will be missed as they do an open audition for Urlacher's replacement.
