Here's a clip of Broken Bells performing their single "Higher Road" on Late Night with David Letterman last night. Broken Bells is of course the test-tube baby creation between Danger Mouse and James Mercer of the Shins.
The performance is fairly similar to the studio cut yet feels truncated. But the song has to fit the time restraints of late night TV so it's to be expected.
It's interesting to see Danger Mouse on the drum kit, but the beat isn't demanding so I shouldn't be too surprised. I wonder if he's on the sticks for the entire album. . .
